Parneet, an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s prestigious Owner/President Management Program, holds an MBA in International Business and Marketing from Sydney. With a strong academic foundation and extensive industry expertise, he seamlessly manages client relationships across domestic and international markets, fostering innovation and building lasting business partnerships.
In 2005, Parneet spearheaded groundbreaking backward integration initiatives by collaborating with farmers to introduce organic farming practices. This forward-thinking approach not only bolstered sustainability but also bridged the gap between producers and consumers.
As a thought leader in the spice industry, Parneet has been invited to speak at prominent trade events, beginning with the World Spice Congress in 2008. His presentations, grounded in data collected directly from farmers, delivered insights that challenged industry norms and reshaped perspectives. Recognizing the need to bridge advanced laboratory research with agricultural practices, he has dedicated himself to closing this gap through sustainable farming innovations and advanced technologies.
Under his leadership, over 12,500 metric tons of sustainably cultivated spices have been certified by the Rainforest Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture - an achievement that made Swani the first in the country to receive this certification in 2015. Guided by his refined palate and passion for sourcing, Parneet leads the company’s Research & Development (R&D) and New Product Development (NPD) divisions, ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality and innovative solutions.
Parneet also conceptualized and developed Agreeta Solutions, an in-house farming and traceability app. By promoting farm-to-fork transparency and sustainability, the platform empowers consumers to trace the origins and processing of their food, reinforcing accountability and trust in the supply chain.
Through his diverse initiatives and achievements, Parneet continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the spice industry while remaining steadfast in his commitment to sustainability and innovation.
